Wow! here are some amazing fabric designs! Stunning graphics and colourways. I couldn’t decide on whether to get the black and white dot design by aboriginal artist Kathleen Pitjara called Plum Seeds Black or the fat eighth bundle of striking Australian flora by Pat Weeks who is a resident artist in Alice Springs.
Each aboriginal fabric design to credited to it’s artist. The website is easy to use as you can search for ‘Design’, ‘Colour’, ‘Region’ & ‘Artist’
It is also interesting to read about the various artists who create such wonderful designs and the explanations behind their designs. It just goes to show that quilting has a world wide audience!
If you are wanting some unique fabrics to spice up your quilting then the Aboriginal Fabric Gallery based in Alice Springs is the perfect place to browse online or in person. They will ship anywhere in the world and the Aboriginal Fabric Gallery specialize in authentic Aboriginal and Australiana fabric printed on 100% quality cotton.
